In the quarterfinals of the Thomas Cup, India faced Malaysia and led by Srikanth, Prannoy, Satwik-Chirag and Lakshya Sen, the team had confirmed a medal for India for the first time in 73 years of the event.

Later, of course, the team went on to win gold after defeating 14-time champs Indonesia!
