Hariharan-Arjun advances to second round after an injury walkover

Hariharan Amsakarunan and MR Arjun started their campaign with a win against the Irish duo, who were forced to give an injury walkover in the second game.

The Indian duo looked good and clinched the first game comfortably 21-16, despite the Irish pair saving four game points.

In the second game, Hariharan and Arjun were leading 6-4 when Ireland's Scott Guildea felt some discomfort and decided not to continue.
