Neeraj Chopra's second World Championships

This will be Neeraj Chopra's second World Championships, having made his debut in the 2017 edition as a 20-year-old. He had then failed to qualify for the final as Davinder Kang hogged the limelight, becoming the first Indian javelin thrower to reach World Championships final.

Neeraj then missed the 2019 edition due to an injury.
