Quick Rewind

Indian men's team started their Olympic campaign with a hard-fought win against New Zealand. Conceding an early goal, India quickly responded with equal fervor. Mandeep Singh leveled the score with a brilliant strike. Vivek Sagar Prasad with a controversial goal took India ahead of the Blackcaps but the lead was short-lived. Simon Child with a brilliant finish levelled the score for New Zealand. 

With the clock ticking down, Captain cool Harmanpreet Singh stepped up, converting the penalty stroke in the 59th minute, sealing the victory for India.
