Indian women's futsal team had a dreadful debut on the international stage, losing 0-5 against Hong Kong in the opening game of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers in Indonesia.

Hong Kong had a strong second half, scoring four of the five goals and proving their dominance in the game.

India still has two more matches in the group stage against Indonesia and the Kyrgyz Republic.
