Hong Kong women ended the first half with a narrow 1-0 lead due to a beautiful finish from its no.7 on the right flank. It also dominated the whole first half, making a lot of chances.

However, the Indian defence kept their shape and not let many crosses passed them but they haven't offered any goal-scoring threat and will need that in the second half to find an equaliser.
