India’s Aditya Pratap Yadav delivered a commanding performance to register a dominant win on Day 4 of the Asian Boxing Championships 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Competing in the men’s 65kg category, Aditya secured a 5-0 unanimous decision victory over Mousa Alhawsaw (KSA), showcasing control and precision throughout the bout.
With this win, Aditya advances to the next round, where he will face Uzbekistan’s Abdulloh Madaminov in what promises to be a competitive contest.
He came to the limelight at the National Boxing Championship earlier this year, after knocking out the tournament favourite Abhinash Jamwal to clinch the gold medal.
Now, the national champion is just one win away from winning his maiden senior Asian Championships medal on debut.
The Asian Boxing Championships 2026 continues to feature top talent from across the continent, with Indian boxers building strong momentum in the tournament.
The quarterfinal stage begins tomorrow, with star Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen set to kick off her campaign. Preeti Pawar (54kg), Priya (60kg), and Deepak (70kg) will also be in action.
