His Background

Originating from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Aditya began his boxing journey at the Kailash Prakash Sports Stadium Boxing Hostel in Meerut before joining the Indian Army as a Havildar.

His rise from the domestic boxing circuit led him to achieve his national title in the men’s 65 kg category, putting him a step closer to his qualification in India's Commonwealth Games squad.

Tournaments and Achievements

He won the gold medal in the men's 65kg light welterweight category at Elite Men’s National Boxing Championships 2026, defeating Abhinash Jamwal in the final.

He then made his debut at the Asian Boxing Championships 2026, starting with a unanimous 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia's Mousa Alhawsaw in the Round of 16 before losing against Uzbekistan's Abdulloh Madaminov in the quarter-finals.

He also represented India at one of Europe's traditional international boxing tournaments in Czechia and claimed a silver medal just ahead of CWG 2026.
