PV Sindhu faced a tough challenge from Ira Sharma in the second round while Lakshya Sen eased past Daniil Dubovenko of Israel in his second-round match.

Treesa and Gayatri got better of their compatriots Shikha Gautam and Ashwini Bhat to progress to the quarterfinal with a comfortable win.

The top-seeded Indian women's doubles pairing of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponappa progressed to the quarterfinal with a tight three-game win against the Chinese Taipei pair of Chen Su Yu and Yi En Hseih.

With this, Shriyanshi progressed to the quarterfinal of this Super 300 Tournament.

Tasnim Mir progressed to the quarterfinal after a tight three-game win against fifth-seeded Anupama Upadhyaya in the second round of Syed Modi International.
