Lakshya Sen, however, made a first-round exit as he lost to Chinese Taipei's Chen Yu Jen 14-21, 7-21.
HS Prannoy, on the other hand, will resume his first-round match, interrupted by a water leakage on Court 3, against Brian Yang on Wednesday. Likewise, Anupama Upadhyay, Priyanshu Rajawat and Aakarshi Kashyap will be in action on Wednesday.

HS Prannoy's match against Brian Yang will resume on Wednesday after a water leakage mishap on the roof caused damage to the Court 3.
During the interval, the officials had a look at the court and have deemed it unfit for play.
The players have now withdrawn and the match is once again paused.
