Malaysia Masters 2020: P V Sindhu beats Aya Ohori to reach quarters

India's ace shuttler P V Sindhu on Thursday, defeated Japan's Aya Ohori 21-10, 21-15 in the Round of 16 of the Malaysia Masters Super 500 and reached quarterfinals.

The Hyderabadi shuttler dominated the show in the first game and easily took the second game to beat her rival.

Earlier, PV Sindhu got the better of Evgeniya Kosetskaya of Russia. Sindhu won her first-round game 21-15, 21-13 in a match that lasted 35 minutes.

Sindhu will play the winner of the match between Tai Tzu Ying and Sung Ji Hyun on Friday at the quarters. Tai Tzu is seeded 1 in the tournament.
