Four Indian shuttlers took at the courts in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Hylo Open, a BWF Super 300 event, on Friday night.
Sathish Kumar, unfortunately, handed a walkover to Frenchman Christo Popov.
Meanwhile, Ayush Shetty and Malvika Bansod posted victories to book their semifinal spots.
However, Satish Karunakaran, Rakshitha Ramraj suffered quarterfinal losses.

Malvika Bansod continued her shine at the Hylo Open by beating Nguyen Linh 21-15, 21-17.
With this victory, she's now through to the semifinals.
Ramraj succumbs to the superior Jakobsen in straight games, 12-21, 17-21.
While the Indian fared better in the second game, Jakobsen's all-round display was just too much for Ramraj to handle.
