French Open: Satwik/Chirag, PV Sindhu win first round- HIGHLIGHTS
Indian shuttlers started with win in the first round of the French Open 2023.

PV Sindhu got better of Gregoria Mariska Tunjung for the second time in as many weeks to win the first round of the French Open 2023 after being one game down. She won 12-21, 21-18, 21-15.
Satwik Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty return to action with a 21-13, 21-13 win against home favourites Lucas Corvee and Ronan Lobar. They return to the circuit after missing the Denmark Open due to injury.

PV Sindhu came back from 0-1 down after the first game to defeat Gregoria Mariska Tunjung 12-21, 21-18, 21-15.
A big lead for Sindhu in the deciding game and she needs to close this down as soon as possible.
PV Sindhu leads 11-7 at the mid-game break and the shuttlers will change sides now.
A well-placed winner and Sindhu roars with a slender lead of 7-6.
Both shuttlers are battling it out without much room of mistakes as Tunjung leads 4-3 at the moment.
Sindhu roars after winning the tight second game against Tunjung. Tunjung made a solid comeback and was leading 18-16 at one point but Sindhu pulled it back expertly to force a decider.
A similar story in the second game like the first one but PV Sindhu leads 11-7 this time. Sindhu has been more composed in longer rallies this time.

Sindhu goes down meekly after the break and loses the first game 12-21 to Tunjung. Sindhu struggling to find her rhythm at the moment.
