That's all we have from the 2026 BWF World Championships quarter-finals.

While Treesa-Gayatri became the first Indian women's doubles pair in 15 years to reach semi-finals and ensured India's medal winning streak at the BWF World Championships stayed alive, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were outplayed in their men's doubles quarter-finals.

It means that Treesa-Gayatri will be the lone medallists at the home world championships for India. It certainly is an improvement from the last time India hosted the global event in 2009, but surely more was expected out of the shuttlers in Delhi.

Thank you for joining into our coverage. See you tomorrow for the all-important women's doubles semi-final!
