Arctic Open 2024: Indian campaign is over at the second round - Highlights

The Indian shuttlers competed in the pre-quarterfinal stage of the Arctic Open Super 500 tournament in Vantaa, Finland, on Thursday.
Indi had seven representatives in the round of 16 with five shuttlers in singles and one each in women's and mixed doubles categories. Lakshya Sen and Kiran George played out in the men's singles category.
On the other hand, Malvika Bansod, Unnati Hooda, and Aakarshi Kashyap were in action in the women's singles category.

The Indian women's doubles pairing of Rutaparna Panda and Swetaparna Panda exited in the second round, losing to the Chinese pairing of Liu and Tan in straight games.
With his, Indian campaign at the Arctic Open is over in the second round itself.

Lakshya fought hard but conceded a tight three-game defeat to Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei in the second round of the Arctic Open.
