World Athletics U20 C'ships: Full Indian squad, schedule, where to watch?

India will field a 36-member contingent at the World Athletics U20 Championships 2026 in Eugene, Oregon, USA, with the competition set to take place from August 5 to August 9.

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has named a squad comprising 23 men and 13 women, who will compete across 18 track and field events over five days at Hayward Field.

Leading India's challenge are long jumper Shahnavaz Khan, one of the country's brightest young field-event prospects, and senior national record holder Pooja Singh, who headlines the women's high jump contingent. The squad also features several national champions and relay specialists aiming to make their mark on the global stage.

India will be represented in sprints, middle-distance events, hurdles, jumps, throws, race walk and relay events, with multiple athletes entering the championships after impressive domestic performances this season.
