Lalit Jain Takes the Helm as Results Manager for Two of the World's Biggest Field Archery Championships

The summer of 2026 marked a significant milestone in the career of Lalit Jain, who served as the Results Manager for both the 2026 NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships and the 2026 IFAA World Field Championships at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton, South Dakota.

Managing the results for two back-to-back premier championships is a responsibility that extends far beyond simply publishing scores. It requires months of planning, technical preparation, and flawless execution to ensure that every arrow shot by hundreds of archers is accurately recorded and instantly available to competitors, coaches, officials, and spectators around the world.

The week began with the 2026 NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships, held from July 24–26, where archers competed across the traditional Field, Hunter, and Animal rounds on the world-class ranges of the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center. Immediately afterward, the venue welcomed athletes from across the globe for the 2026 IFAA World Field Championships, held from July 27-31 one of the most prestigious international field archery events on the calendar.

As Results Manager, Lalit was responsible for overseeing the complete scoring operation throughout both tournaments. His duties included configuring and managing the IANSEO competition management system, monitoring live scoring, verifying scorecards, resolving technical issues, coordinating with tournament officials, and ensuring that official results were published quickly and accurately.

The role demanded continuous attention from the first practice session until the final awards ceremony. Every score entered into the system had to be verified, synchronized, and processed without interruption, ensuring athletes received accurate standings in real time while maintaining the integrity of the competition.

Originally from Punjab, India, Lalit brings over a decade of competitive archery experience along with extensive expertise in tournament technology. Before joining the National Field Archery Association (NFAA), he competed nationally and internationally, giving him a unique understanding of the importance of accurate, transparent, and efficient scoring systems from an athlete's perspective.

Today, as the Scoring and Events Coordinator at NFAA headquarters, he combines his competitive background with technical expertise to deliver reliable results for national and international championships. His work includes managing complex competition databases, supporting tournament operations, troubleshooting live scoring systems, and ensuring seamless delivery of official results under pressure.

Serving as Results Manager for both the NFAA National Championships and the IFAA World Championships represents another important achievement in Lalit's growing career in international archery event management. Successfully delivering two major championships in consecutive weeks demonstrates not only technical excellence but also the trust placed in him by the National Field Archery Association and the International Field Archery Association.
