India recurve mixed team enters Archery world cup stage 3 final
Kumkum and Dhiraj beat Germany 6-2 in the final as India records mixed results in Antalya.

The third stage of the Archery World Cup is being held in Antalya from June 9th to 14th. On June 11th, recurve individual eliminations and mixed team matches took place, with Indian archers competing across multiple categories.
India's recurve archers had a mixed day at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Antalya, with strong performances in the women's and mixed team events helping offset disappointments in the men's individual competition.
India's biggest success of the day came in the recurve mixed team event, where Kumkum Anil Mohod and Dhiraj Bommadevara advanced to the final after defeating Germany's Katharina Bauer and Moritz Wieser 6-2.The Indian pair won the match with set scores of (36, 39, 38 and 38) against Germany's (37, 37, 36 and 37).
The victory secured India a place in the gold medal match, which will be held on June 14th.
Disappointment in men's recurve
India's men's recurve campaign suffered a setback as Yashdeep Sanjay Bhoge and veteran Olympian Atanu Das were both eliminated in the 1/24 elimination round.
Yashdeep lost to Belgium's Jarno De Smedt by a score of 7-1. The Belgian archer posted set scores of (28, 28, 29 and 28), while Yashdeep managed (27, 28, 28 and 26).
Atanu Das was also out after losing 6-2 to Turkey's Harun Kirmizitas. The Turkish archer won with set scores of( 27, 29, 25 and 28) against Atanu's (29, 27, 29 and 29).
Neeraj Chauhan provided some relief for India in the men's event, defeating Bangladesh's Rahman Abdur Alif 7-3 to advance to the Round of 32.
Women's recurve keeps India's hopes alive
The women's recurve archers produced a much stronger performance, with both Ankita Bhakat and Kirti Sharma advancing to the Round of 32.
Ankita defeated the Netherlands' Quinty Roeffen 6-4 in a closely contested match. She recorded scores of( 29, 26, 28, 29 and 29), while Roeffen managed (29, 28, 27, 27 and 29).
Kirti Sharma registered one of the most dominant wins of the day, defeating China's Huang Yuwei in straight sets. Kirti secured a 6-0 victory with scores of (28, 29 and 29) against Huang's (27, 27 and 27).
The Round of 16 matches in the men's and women's recurve events will take place on June 12th.
