With the start of a new year, wrestler and double Olympic medallist, Sushil Kumar, has decided to venture into the unknown territory and has launched his own YouTube channel.

The 37-year-old took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to announce this on the last day of 2020 and tweeted, “New Year New beginnings.. I welcome you all to my YouTube channel. I will try and share my wrestling experiences and tips to young grapplers for the betterment of our Nation in sports. Need your support.”

The grappler has since uploaded a total of five videos in his channel with some great tips for the budding wrestling stars for the country. Among them, the one which grabbed the most attention of all is titled, “How to boost your immunity.”

“Exercise for around 45 minutes daily. Those 45 minutes can include anything from Yoga to any sports. But you should dedicate these 45 minutes daily,” Kumar says in the video.

Besides, he also asks the youngsters and aspiring grapplers to avoid taking any form of drugs.

“Also, it is very important to say no to drugs. They weaken your immunity and diminish your body’s capability to fight diseases,” he said.

Though the channel was started just five days ago, it has managed to rake up around 2.11k subscribers and has more than 13,000 combined views so far.
