Ritu Phogat continues high show with second MMA win

Amidst pin drop silence, India's superstar wrestler Ritu Phogat got the better of her opponent from China in Singapore. She dominated her opponent, Wu Chio Chen and registered a win by an unanimous decision.

After the Age of Dragon fight, this was King of the Jungle series that was much awaited by the martial arts fans across the world.

There was no a single audience as a viewer to watch the match as coronavirus outbreak increased the safety concerns and the decision to conduct the match behind close doors was taken.

In the first match, Indian wrestler Ritu Phogat made a successful mixed martial arts and ONE Championship debut, putting together a dominant performance on the way to a technical knockout victory over South Korea’s Nam Hee Kim in Beijing, PTI reported.

Phogat immediately scored on a takedown in the opening seconds of the bout. She executed another successful takedown moments later, this time keeping Kim on the mat and proceeding to cause damage with ground-and-pound.
