Tamil Thalaivas vs Gujarat Fortunegiants Tamil Thalaivas edge out Gujarat Fortunegiants in a stellar 34-48 victory Gujarat led once again with a two-point raid by Sachin only to be tackled down by Manjeet to bring back the lead for Thalaivas. Just before the halftime whistle, the Ajay Thakur side took a 15-10 lead in the contest, with Thakur having scored six of those points. The second half started with Gujarat Fortunegiants getting the first point through Rohit Gulia. But Rahul Chaudhari stepped in at the right time to deliver a successful tackle that helped Tamil Thalaivas’ nose past Gujarat in the contest. As soon as Tamil Thalaivas reassembled on the mat, though, Manjeet started things off with a brilliant tackle on Gulia before Thakur managed to escape a chain tackle to pick up a super raid and handed his team a big advantage with just over two minutes left on the clock. Mohit Chhillar then completed his high 5 by tackling Sonu enforcing an all-out on Gujarat Fortunegiants with only seconds left in the contest. Although Gulia managed a two-point raid in that period to help the home team get a point from the contest, it was Tamil Thalaivas who walked away with a thumping win.
