This exercise called as burpee. It may look intimidating but in this video you can see how easily we can do it. This exercise is very beneficial for upper and lower body strengths, and it also has a cardio element. In this video you can see Indian wrestler, Pawan Kumar, is doing the basic burpee and also with a variation of dumbbell biceps curl.
The burpee is a true full body exercise, working most major muscle groups while also improving your cardio-vascular fitness. It also helps in testing your balance and co-ordination.
The first set of exercise is burpee with dumbbell biceps curl. The burpee is also an exercise that’s easy to vary and combine with various exercise so you work the body in different ways. It is very helpful for Boxers and Wrestlers to improve and maintain their upper body strength.
In the basic burpee, you remain in the raised plank and jump your feet back towards your hands. Then round off the manoeuvre by leaping into the air with your arms straight above you. Then do it all again. The last set is skipping which improves your heart rate, helps in balance coordination and tones muscles in lower and upper body.
But it is really important to do a warm-up before you start your workout routine.
