The Ironman World Championship is all set to kick-off in the month of October with the 26/11 hero Praveen Teotia representing India. A triathlon event, which is to be held in New York, has been divided into three sections, namely, swimming to cover a distance of 3.86 km, cycling to cover 180 km and run to cover 42.2 km. Former Marine Commando Praveen hogged the limelight after showcasing ineffable courage during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvGk4-DHW1k&feature=youtu.be Despite being critically impaired, the 33-year-old Praveen refused to capitulate barriers when he ran the 72 km Khardung-La marathon in Ladakh and ended up bagging a medal. This athletic competition is considered to be one of the most difficult ones in the world. Praveen is, however, no stranger to history, as he had won the Ironman title at the Triathlon championships 2018 which was held in South Africa.  After the 26/11 attacks left Praveen critically injured damaging his lungs and ears, he still refuses to concede defeat but battles against all the odds to earn recognition and make an identity for himself. But Praveen did the unthinkable when he stood back stronger even after the doctors gave up on him.
